Dubai has one of the best public healthcare systems in the world. Dubai Health Authority (DHA) oversees health services in Dubai. It is responsible for public and private health care.

How you can get public healthcare in Dubai:

Anyone working in Dubai can apply for public healthcare coverage. According to UAE law, employers must provide basic health insurance to all foreigners legally working here. After acquiring a national health card, you can only get medical care in public hospitals.

To apply for health care, you need:

  1. Your Emirates ID number
  2. Passport details
  3. Residence visa
  4. Two passport photos
  5. A copy of your tenancy contract
  6. A completed application card
  7. AED 320 for adults and children under 10 pay just AED 120
